Recent Livingston Academy graduate Carson Parrott was named Class 3A’s Mr. Baseball on Tuesday morning, beating out Montgomery Central’s Gabe Eddington and Loudon’s Jaxon Walker.
On the season, Parrott finished 7-0 as a starter with a 1.41 Earned Run Average and 95 strikeouts. He also earned one save in 53.1 innings pitched.
At the plate, Parrott batted .392 with three home runs and 21 RBIs with a .566 0n-base percentage and a .716 slugging percentage.
Livingston Academy wrapped up its season in the District 7-3A Tournament with a 21-6 overall record and an 8-2 mark in district play.
