FOUR-PEAT: Gordonsville Softball Takes Down Trousdale County In 4-1A Championship, 10-1

The Gordonsville Tigerettes are Region 4-1A champions for the fourth consecutive season as they defeated Trousdale County in Wednesday’s championship game at Crump Paris Park, 10-1.

Gordonsville racked up 14 hits, including 3 each by Camri Johnson, Kat Johnson and Callie Dillard. Dillard and McKenzie Herron drove in two runs each.

Dillard earned the victory in the circle while surrendering 6 hits and 1 walk.

Up next for Gordonsville is the Class 1A sectional round, where they’ll look to clinch their sixth consecutive state tournament berth. Gordonsville will host the Chattanooga School of Liberal Arts, date and time TBD.
