Eva Worsham hit a two-run home run in the top of the fourth inning while sophomore pitcher Kenzie Jackson struck out 6 batters in the complete-game shoutout. The 11 a.m. game took nearly 6 and a half hours to complete due to inclement weather.
Stone Memorial is scheduled to face Cocke County in the consolation bracket again tonight at the conclusion of the game before them on Starplex #4, weather permitting.
