Coach Caine and his swarm of Bees put the sting on his former team, Sequatchie County High School 19 – 7 to clinch the region championship and finish the regular season at 10 – 0
The M & M Duo, of Metzgar and McCallister, put the mission on their backs and punished the Indians defense grinding out a total of 311 yards on the ground as they were the only players touching the ball running. Passing game was slowed down because of the wet and rainy conditions but of the 3 passes attempted Cole Bush gathered in one for 33 yards and Duke Maresh grabbed one for 10 yards.
On defense, the Bees swarmed the Indidans with Caden Nash totaling 12 tackles/assists and Zach Stewart racking up 11.
Next up for the Bees will be hosting a first round TSSAA state playoff game next Friday night.
Also on this last regular game of the season, seniors were recognized for their talents and contributions made to UHS.
