MHS travels to Hogeye Country for the season opener for both teams. In a run fest the Wildcats from Monterey out scores the hometown LA Wildcats 8-5 Grayson Randolph & Jordan Key had 3 hits apiece with Key driving in 3 runs, LT Sullivan added 2 hits. Phillips started on the mound going 4 2/3 innings giving up 5 runs on 6 hits. Randolph tosses the last 2 1/3 innings shouting down LA’s bats by striking out 7 hitters
