Pickett County News 5/10/19

Happy Mother’s Day Weekend Everyone!

If you are a Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, by birth or otherwise, we wish you a happy weekend! If you are a child who’s Mother is no longer in your life for whatever reason, find a Mother that has lost a child and make it special for both of you. Those gone would want it that way.

I have recently posted pictures from our local Chamber members to our Facebook page to make it easier to “window” shop before you go buy. I know my schedule doesn’t allow me the time to go to each individual store during business hours. This way, you can look when you have time and drop in when you have decided. You don’t have long though! Mother’s Day is this SUNDAY!

ALSO, PLEASE NOTE THE CHILI and CORNBREAD COOK-OFF NEXT SATURDAY AT GOOD NEIGHBORS THEATRE! If you plan to compete, please call Pat at (931) 267-6678 to register before May 16th! Lots of great activities will also accompany the cook-off.
