The high school golf season wrapped up on Friday, as the Upperman Bees closed out the season with a fifth-place finish at the TSSAA Class A State Tournament.
Andrew Ramsey led the way, firing a 160 (+16) in two rounds. William Spillers shot a 170 (+26), and Sam Greenwood fired in a 176 (+32). Braden Reich followed with a 178 (+34), and Braden Perry rounded out the team with a 192 (+48).
Overall, the Bees finished in fifth-place with a 684 (+108) as a team. Kingston won their third consecutive state title with a 619 (+43).
On the girls side of competition, the Lady Bees finished in 10th place overall with a 452 (+172).
Kaylee Clark paced UHS with a 227 (+87) through two days. Emaline Anderson finished with a 226 (+86), and Sydney Rogers closed out the tournament with a 233 (+93).
