The Cookeville Cavaliers put a bow on their 2026 season earlier this week as they fell in the Class 4A state baseball tournament to Collierville, 6-3.
2026 marked Cookeville’s first state tournament berth since 2014. The Cavaliers finished runners-up in District 6-4A and Region 3-4A before winning their road sectional series at Beech last week.
