Week 5 of the UC Top 5 features White County and Macon County holding down the top two while Jackson County enters for the first time at #5. The UC Top 5 is unveiled each week during the regular season during the UCR Football Show Presented by Fire & Vine on Wednesdays.

1. White County (5-0)

The White County Warriors retained their #1 ranking following a 27-14 victory over Livingston last week. The Warriors travel to #2 Macon County this Friday in the Mayberry’s Furniture Game of the Week.

2. Macon County (5-0)

Macon County cruised to a 42-0 victory at DeKalb County last week and hosts #1 White County in the Mayberry’s Furniture Game of the Week.

3. Gordonsville (4-1)

Gordonsville rises a spot to #3 following their 42-7 victory over Cannon County last week. The Tigers are back at home this Friday in the Turner Tow Pros Midstate Game of the Week against #4 Jackson County.

4. Jackson County (5-0)

Jackson County moved up a spot to #4 following their 28-14 victory over Smith County last week. The Blue Devils travel to #3 Gordonsville this week for the Turner Tow Pros Midstate Game of the Week.

5. Upperman (3-2)

The Upperman Bees fell at Beech last Friday, 42-19, and host DeKalb County in Region 4-4A play this week.
