The TSSAA staff has set districts and regions in all sports for the 2027-2029 classification cycle. Maps for every sport with listings of the schools can be found at https://tssaa.org/classification or through the Classification link on the TSSAA homepage.
Schools wishing to appeal their placement must do so at the TSSAA Board of Control meeting on Thursday, November 19. The Board of Control Meeting will take place at the Hilton Garden Inn in Mt. Juliet.
All appeal requests must be submitted no later than Monday, November 16.
Once all appeal requests have been received and compiled by the TSSAA office:
In-Person Appeals: Staff will schedule a specific time for your administration to appear before the Board of Control on November 19 and will contact you with your designated presentation time. Schools will be limited to five minutes for each presentation.
Written Appeals: Written appeals will be compiled and distributed directly to the Board of Control for review during the meeting on November 19.
