Since be elected as your Sheriff, Eddie Farris has made it a priority to improve the training and education of all the Sheriff’s Department employees. He has arranged for and sponsored scholarships for furthering college education. There has also been an increase in job related certifications and enhanced training programs for personnel.

Sheriff Farris recently took time to recognize Deputy Herb Snow for his commitment to further his education upon receiving his Bachelor’s degree.

Herb has just over 25 years of service to the County as a Deputy. He recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Bethel University and was able to achieve Summa Cum Laude.

Herb is not stopping now. He is scheduled to start his master’s degree at Bethel University on July 20, 2015.

Herb comes from law enforcement background. His father and grandfather were both police officers, both serving 30 years respectively. Congratulations to Herb and thank you for your service.
