Lance Key, Instructional Technology Specialist for Putnam County VITAL has been selected as the Local PBS LearningMedia Digital Innovator. The PBS LearningMedia Digital Innovators program recognizes educators nationwide who are incorporating digital media in classrooms and serving as leaders in educational technology. Key teaches Integrated Math 1 and 2 to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders using a blended/flipped model to students at Prescott South Middle School, Burks Middle School, and Algood Middle School via Tandberg Distance Learning equipment. Key also works with the VITAL Team to develop digital content for his students and to provide professional development for other teachers in the county.
