It is my privilege to formally announce the next principal of Cookeville High School.

I want to welcome Mr. Clif Matlock to his new role at Cookeville High School.

Based upon demonstrated abilities along with the information gained in the interview process affirmed by the very strong and supportive feedback from CHS faculty, staff, and community members, Mr. Matlock has earned the opportunity to serve and lead CHS.  I am excited about the possibilities and look forward to the strength of focus, collaboration, and excitement Mr. Matlock and his leadership team will support and achieve to foster student achievement and growth (academic, social, and emotional).

I cannot commend each of you enough for your individual and collective commitment of time, effort, energy and passion to ensure that every student is a future ready graduate engaged and inspired to achieve excellence.

I look forward to working with Mr. Matlock and each of you as we make intentional actions to achieve great things with and for our students throughout the 2017-2018 school year.
