Two Arrested For Contributing To Delinquency Of A Minor

An investigation of a noise complaint on Watauga Drive ended with two being arrested allegedly due to giving alcohol to a minor.
Around 2 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 10, Cookeville police were dispatched to a house on Watauga Drive. Upon arriving, the officer arrested Drevin Ashburn, 18, of Cookeville and Justin Light, 19, of Sparta on account of non-cooperation. Others involved were given a citation due to their cooperation.
Both Ashburn and Light were charged with Underage Possession/Consumption of Alcohol but Ashburn was also charged with the Contributing To The Delinquency Of A Minor seeing as it was his place of residence where the incident occurred.
