The Livingston Academy Lady Wildcats made history Saturday when they defeated McMinn Central 1-0 to advance to the TSSAA state girls’ soccer tournament for the first time.
Lily Copeland buried a shot with 20 minutes remaining in the match for the game’s only score as the Lady Wildcats’ extended their history-making season.
The Lady Wildcats will return to action Wednesday in the first round of the state tournament in Murfreesboro.
