PUTNAM COUNTY, T.N. — The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a possible animal cruelty case. Deputies responded to Lake Hill Road in Monterey in reference to several cattle that were found deceased.
The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, Putnam County Criminal Investigations Unit – Office of the District Attorney, Tennessee Department of Agriculture Criminal Investigations Unit, Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, and the Tennessee Highway Patrol Critical Incidents Response Team are all investigating.
