Byrdstown-Pickett Co Update Sept 10, 2021

Welcome to the Weekend!!

The “Summer” season is officially over with the passing of Labor Day. These cooler nights are most welcome. You can already see the leaves beginning the autumnal changes and the sunsets and rises are adjusting too. It won’t be long before all the vibrant colors of fall begin their big show. We would like to invite everyone out tomorrow morning at 7:30AM to the 20th Anniversary Memorial Service to be held here at the Welcome Center on Hwy. 111. For those of us that remember that day, it’s etched in our minds forever. To those that don’t recall, please take the time to remember the actions of that day and listen to those that do. THANK YOU to all of our first responders and military, volunteers and others that played such a roll in that time in history and to those serving since as well. May we always remember to appreciate their service everyday.
