The Upperman Bees’ 2025 baseball season came to a close Thursday afternoon in Smyrna as they were defeated by Greeneville 6-2 and South Gibson 3-1 in Class 3A state tournament action.
After winning Wednesday’s opener against Chester County 4-0, the Bees advanced in the winners’ bracket where they fell to the Greene Devils and Hornets. Upperman finishes the 2025 season at 27-14 overall and champions of District 7-3A and runners-up in Region 4-3A.
Upperman’s senior class, including Cody Lowe, Julian Llano, Rookie Allison, Justin Fallon, Aiden Wyatt, Alec Wilson, Evan Huddleston and Karsen Holroyd, made three state tournament trips in four seasons. They won the 2022 Class 3A state championship and finishes runners-up in 2023.
